[edit] Mini-Box M300

I originally purchased this mini-itx computer with the intention to build an embedded VoIP server. It was chosen over all of the rest due to the fact that it has a PCI slot that you can put a TDM card into. Once I received the system and started working with it, the brainstorming session started and I started to think of all of the possibilities. Very low heat, very low power, 12V powered (same as cars), and expansion slots give you tons of options.
Since this was my first mini-itx system purchased, I decided to purchase an already assembled system. There ended up being an error in the shipping process, and Mini-Box technical support was very responsive and immediately shipped the missing parts over night. Since then, Mini-Box has added some really cool systems with LCD displays and controls. This would be perfect for any embedded system, since you can program those buttons to do anything from restart the system, to change the IP address, to restart daemons (or services in the Windows world), etc.
Mini-Box is also another resource for the WRAP.2C SBC SBCs.
