CentOS is a linux distribution based off of the source code from Red Hat Enterprise Linux. It is the same source code from Red Hat Enterprise linux, just the text and logos changed to say CentOS. It does NOT depend on the Red Hat Network, or any other pay service in order to get updates.
CentOS is available as a download directly from the web page below, or from bittorrent. It is available in CD or DVD format.
