Hardware Projects
- Hardware Projects can be anything hardware related. This includes embedded design, SBCs, microcontrollers, DSPs, FPGAs, small form factor PCs, server class machines, machines of different architectures, gaming hardware (like the XBOX 360 and PS3), clusters, etc. For the hardware related projects, I will at the very least provide links to the hardware, and information about how to purchase it directly. If the project involves a design, and is worthwhile for us to produce, we will. Those projects will include the schematics and source code (when applicable), and also a link to purchase the end product directly from us at a minimal markup. Hardware projects can become costly to duplicate from scratch, but not all are (such as the MSP430 Project.
Software Projects
- Software projects can be anything involving software customization, configuration, creation, ... Most of the software projects contained on this site will use linux and open source software, just cause both of them are free. A lot of these projects can be useful for home users and SMB users to build to run their network and applications. Certain projects will also be worthwhile for enterprise users to look into. Software projects will be provided in several different ways, but mostly as disk images and VMWare Virtual Appliances to allow you to quickly get the system up and working for your own test purposes.
